Job summary

Terberg Manufacturing & Assembly Sdn Bhd is seeking an Executive, Safety & Sustainability for its Pasir Gudang manufacturing plant. The role focuses on implementing SSD & ESH policies, coordinating health and environmental activities, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the site.

The successful candidate will lead internal audits, organize ESH committee meetings, investigate incidents, and liaise with government bodies.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience on ESH implementation.
• Experienced in communicating with all levels of employees.
• Degree in Environmental / Occupational Health or certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) by NIOSH.

Responsibilities

• To implement the company’s SSD & ESH policy and coordinate activities in the company.

• Investigate accidents or incidents and prepare reports for management and relevant government bodies.

Coordination of legal compliance activities; audiometric test, health surveillance, environmental monitoring.

To coordinate & conduct internal audits, inspections & compliance checks.

To organize ESH committee meeting and advise operations in terms of ESH requirements.

To investigate accidents or incidents, prepare the report to management & submission to relevant government bodies if appropriate.

To conduct ESH training & awareness to employees.

To liaise & submission of report to the relevant government / regulatory bodies on ESH matter.

Manage the disposal of scheduled waste based on the requirement by law.
