Job summary

Genting Malaysia Berhad is hiring an Executive - Safety & Health to support safety leadership across Genting Theme Parks, including HSC initiatives for Genting SkyWorlds and Skytropolis. The role focuses on developing safety policies, conducting audits and investigations, and delivering trainings to ensure strict compliance with OSH laws.

The ideal candidate is fresh graduate to 2 years in OSH, with a DOSH-registered SHOfficer preferred, and strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years of OSH-related experience.
• Preferred registered Safety Health Officer with DOSH and valid green book.
• Familiar with Malaysia OSH Legislation (OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and people skills across departments and external bodies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Asst Manager, Manager and AVP of Genting Theme Parks – HSC.
• Develop safety strategies, policies, and procedures for Genting SkyWorlds and Skytropolis.
• Assist in implementing the Health and Safety Policy and maintaining OSH MS and ISO 14001.
• Conduct incident investigations and audits; carry out inspections for hazards.
• Provide trainings to employees to ensure compliance with standards and laws.
• Perform HIRARC and Job Safety Analysis at workplaces.
• Prepare safety evaluation reports and liaise with authorities (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA).

Job Responsibilities * Provide support to Asst Manager, Manager and AVP of Genting Theme Parks – HSC.* To recommend and develop effective safety strategies, policies and procedures for both Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park and Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park Technical Services and Facilities Management, Midway Attractions, including cable car operations, Awana and Genting Skyways.* Assist in the implementation of the Company's Health and Safety Policy and maintenance of the Occupational Safety & Health Management Systems and ISO 14001.* Assist the Senior Executive, Assistant Manager and Manager in carrying out incident investigation.
