SkyWorld Development in Malaysia is seeking a Safety Inspector to monitor and audit site activities against DOSH, OSHA, CDM regulations and other statutory requirements.
The candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health and Environment, have a valid DOSH Yellow Book, and 2–3 years of construction safety inspection experience, preferably in high-rise residential projects. Strong communication and stakeholder skills are essential.

Monitor and audit site activities against applicable DOSH, OSHA, CDM regulation and other relevant statutory requirements.
Verify implementation of the Main Contractor's approved Safety & Health Plan, HIRARC, Method Statement, SOP and Safe Work Procedures.
Identify safety non-conformances, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and potential high-risk activities.
Conduct a scheduled and ad-hoc safety compliance audits on Main Contractors.
Review the contractor's safety inspection records, toolbox meetings, training records, permits, site accident report and other safety documentation.
Handle & advise Construction Design Management (CDM) regulation related matters.
Handle all the MyKKP related matters, eg. Site registration. JKKP 12.
Involve in Pre Qlassic Assessment (PQI) Stage 1 & 2 and report preparation.
Assist in coordinating safety awareness briefing and trainingto the project team.
Support SHASSIC assessments and internal audits where applicable.
Assist on SkyWorld Quality Index (SQI) audit as and when required.
Perform any other assignments from time to time as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Health and environment or equivalent.
Valid DOSH Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor competency registered with DOSH) is a must.
Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in construction safety inspection.
Experience in high-rise residential construction is an added advantage.
Knowledge of SHASSIC, OSHA 2022, CDM Regulations 2024, and construction quality standards.
Experience in QLASSIC is an added advantage
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
