Job summary

Coffeebot Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA/QC & Halal Compliance professional to lead ISO 9001 certification, develop and maintain the QMS, and ensure Halal standards across materials, processes and suppliers.

You will oversee HACCP and GMP implementation, coordinate audits, and drive a culture of food safety and quality throughout the organization. 1–3 years in F&B/QC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Food Science/Technology, Food Safety, Quality Management or Halal Management.
• 1–3 years QA/QC, food safety or Halal compliance in F&B/FMCG.
• Experience in ISO 9001, HACCP and/or Halal audits preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, document control, SOP development, internal audits, NCR, CAPA and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISO 9001 preparation, implementation and certification.
• Develop, implement and maintain the QMS including policies, procedures, forms and records.
• Ensure company processes are documented and followed consistently.
• Coordinate with external auditors and certification bodies.
• Lead Halal certification applications, implementation and renewal/maintenance.
• Develop and maintain Halal Assurance/Management System and ensure Halal compliance.
• Ensure materials, packaging, suppliers meet Halal requirements and traceability.
• Coordinate Halal audits and inspections with relevant departments.
• Lead HACCP Food Safety System development and maintenance.
• Ensure GMP, hygiene and sanitation practices are followed.
• Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions.

Job description

Lead the company's preparation, implementation and certification for ISO 9001.

Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies, procedures, working instructions, forms and records.

Ensure company processes are properly documented and consistently followed.

Coordinate with external auditors and certification bodies during certification and surveillance audits.

Halal Management

Lead and manage the company's Halal certification application, implementation and renewal/maintenance.

Develop and maintain the Halal Assurance/Management System and ensure compliance with applicable Halal requirements.

Ensure raw materials, ingredients, packaging, suppliers and production processes meet Halal requirements, including proper documentation and traceability.

Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production and suppliers on Halal matters, including changes to materials, suppliers and processes.

Prepare for and coordinate Halal audits and inspections, manage follow-up actions, and act as the key person for Halal certification and compliance.

HACCP & Food Safety

Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of the company's HACCP Food Safety System.

Ensure proper implementation of GMP, hygiene, sanitation and food safety practices.

Develop and maintain HACCP plans, flow charts, hazard analysis, CCP/CP monitoring procedures and related documentation.

Investigate food safety incidents, non-conformities and customer complaints, and recommend appropriate corrective actions

Create awareness among employees regarding quality, food safety and Halal requirements.

Promote a strong quality, food safety and Halal culture within the organization.

Recommend improvements to processes, procedures and systems to prevent recurrence of quality and food safety issues.

Other Duties

Support Management in matters relating to quality, food safety, certification and regulatory compliance.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Quality Management, Halal Management or a related field.

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in QA/QC, food safety or Halal compliance within the F&B/FMCG industry is an advantage. Experience in ISO 9001, HACCP and/or Halal audits is highly preferred.

Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, document control, SOP development, internal audits, NCR, CAPA and root cause analysis.

Personal & Certification: Proactive, independent and able to take ownership of certification and compliance activities. Candidates with HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, Halal Executive/competency training or related certifications will be an added advantage.
