Job summary

Tokio Marine Insurance Group Asia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Insurance Policy Processing Officer to handle incoming mails and submissions, liaising on discrepancies and ensuring timely policy issuance. The role requires adherence to guidelines, data accuracy, and daily tracking within set turnaround times.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with preference for a degree in Insurance or related fields and basic Excel/Word skills, supporting collaboration with Marketing and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science or Business Administration is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the insurance industry (non-motor lines).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Attend to incoming mails/submissions/correspondence of Fire including liaising and follow up on discrepancy of submission.
• Monitor policy/endorsement issuance within the TAT set.
• Attend to STP failed and pending cases.
• Archiving of documents
• Perform UAT as required.
• Compliance to all guidelines and regulations related to policy/endorsement processing.
• Check policy/endorsement to ensure accuracy of the data captured.
• Daily tracking, monitor and ensure policy/ endorsement processing is issued within the standard turnaround time set.
• Follow-up/attend to discrepancies on submission with Marketing.
• Perform risk accumulation checks to ensure risk exposure is kept within company retention limits.
• Prepare monthly report and ad-hoc reports (whenever necessary).
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned to you.

Requirements

• Preferably Degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science or Business Administration, Bachelor of Science
• Preferably with minimum 1 year experience in insurance industry (non-motor classes)
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Relevant computer skills i.e. excel & words
• Knowledge in non-motor insurance
• Good communication skill - oral & written
