Job summary

PROTECTHEALTH CORPORATION SDN. BHD. is seeking an Executive, MediAsas Analytics to analyze healthcare data across DRG, Care Outcome, FWA and MediAsas programme performance.

You will work with healthcare, claims and provider data, producing dashboards and performance reports while developing specialised analytics capabilities. Responsibilities include extracting, cleaning and validating data, running routine/ad-hoc analyses, and supporting data reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant analytics/healthcare discipline.
• 1–3 years of analytics experience preferred in healthcare, claims, insurance or related fields.
• Exposure to healthcare or claims data is advantageous.
• Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.

About the role

Executive, MediAsas Analytics will support the analysis and monitoring of healthcare data across DRG, Care Outcome, FWA and MediAsas programme performance.

You will work with healthcare, claims and provider data to produce reliable analyses, dashboards and performance reports while developing specialised capabilities in healthcare analytics.

What you're doing

Extract, compile, clean and validate healthcare, claims and provider data.

Perform routine and ad-hoc analyses supporting DRG, Care Outcome and FWA.

Support case-mix, utilisation, healthcare cost and provider analyses.

Assist with data analysis for DRG rate review and evaluation.

Monitor Care Outcome, provider performance and programme indicators.

Monitor FWA indicators and flag unusual claims or utilisation patterns.

Prepare dashboards, scorecards, KPI reports and analytical summaries.

Conduct preliminary trend, variance and benchmarking analyses.

Perform data reconciliation and quality checks.

Support senior team members on analytical and predictive analytics projects.

Assist with reporting automation and dashboard enhancement.

Maintain analytical documentation and data quality standards.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Health Economics, Computer Science, Healthcare/Health Sciences or related discipline.

Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience in analytics, healthcare, medical claims, insurance/takaful, ITO/TPA or related fields.

Healthcare or claims data exposure is an advantage.

Good analytical skills with Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of Power BI and SQL is preferred.

Knowledge of Python/R or other analytical tools is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and willingness to learn healthcare, DRG and FWA analytics.
