Job summary

Protecthealth Corporation in Sepang, Selangor, seeks an experienced analytics leader to head the MediAsas Analytics Unit, focusing on DRG, Care Outcome, and FWA analytics. Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, you will drive data-driven insights to improve healthcare quality, provider performance and programme effectiveness.

You will lead dashboards, predictive analytics, governance and performance measurement initiatives, while coordinating with ITO Management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant analytics/healthcare field is required.
• 10+ years of healthcare analytics experience preferred.
• Experience in leadership or management is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, direction and delivery of MediAsas Analytics.
• Lead analytics supporting DRG rate establishment, maintenance, evaluation and revision.
• Drive Care Outcome and FWA analytics across FFS and DRG arrangements.
• Oversee provider performance, healthcare trend, risk profiling and programme analytics.
• Provide strategic insights and evidence-based recommendations to Management.
• Lead dashboards, predictive analytics, business intelligence and performance measurement initiatives.
• Strengthen data governance, analytical quality and reporting standards.
• Drive adoption of automation, AI and advanced analytical capabilities.
• Collaborate with ITO Management, Provider Management, Digital Technology, Business Solution and other key stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced analytics leader to head the MediAsas Analytics Unit, with a core focus on Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG), Care Outcome, and Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA) analytics.

Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, you will lead the development of data-driven insights that support healthcare quality, provider performance, programme effectiveness and strategic decision-making. You will also play a key role in strengthening ProtectHealth's capabilities towards becoming a Centre of Excellence for DRG and COFWA analytics.

What You’ll Do

Lead the strategy, direction and delivery of MediAsas Analytics.

Lead analytics supporting DRG rate establishment, maintenance, evaluation and revision.

Drive Care Outcome and FWA analytics across Fee-for-Service (FFS) and DRG arrangements.

Oversee provider performance, healthcare trend, risk profiling and programme analytics.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Health Economics, Healthcare/Health Sciences or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare/medical analytics, medical claims, healthcare financing, health insurance/takaful, ITO/TPA or a similar environment.

Previous leadership or managerial experience is strongly preferred.

Experience in DRG/case-mix, healthcare claims, provider analytics, healthcare cost analysis and/or FWA is highly advantageous.

Strong knowledge of business intelligence and analytical technologies such as Power BI, Python, SQL and predictive analytics tools.

Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
