Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad is seeking a Marketing Executive to oversee a mall's casual leasing programs, plan events, and manage tenant relationships. You will drive social media, update the website, and handle administrative tasks including documentation, credit control, and reporting.

As the Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the mall's casual leasing programs, planning and executing engaging events, and fostering strong relationships with tenants. You will also manage the mall’s social media platforms, update and maintain the website and digital directory, and handle key administrative tasks including documentation, credit control, and reporting.

Key Accountabilities
1. Casual Leasing (Promotion Space, Advertising Space, Pushcarts, and Pop-ups):
Manage the leasing of promotional spaces, advertising spaces, pushcarts, and pop-ups.
Ensure proper documentation, client satisfaction, and renewals for casual leasing agreements.
Prepare casual leasing proposals and coordinate with potential tenants and vendors.
2. Event Planning & Organization:
Plan and execute internal and external events, working with tenants and sponsors to ensure success.
Oversee event logistics, budgeting, and vendor relationships.
Create detailed event proposals and post-event reports.
Maintain effective communication with tenants, addressing their marketing needs.
Assist tenants with participation in mall promotions and collaborative campaigns.
Act as the point of contact between tenants and mall management for event coordination.
4. External Partnerships & Sponsorships:
Source, negotiate, and manage external partners and sponsorships for mall events and initiatives.
Build long-term partnerships that benefit both parties and align with the mall's branding.
5. Social Media & Digital Management:
Oversee the mall's social media channels, website, and digital directory.
Develop content strategies, schedule posts, and engage with online audiences.
Monitor digital performance and suggest improvements to enhance engagement.
6. Documentation & Administrative Work:
Handle the administrative tasks associated with casual leasing, marketing activities, and event planning.
Ensure compliance with all regulations and manage relevant licenses and permits for mall promotions and events.
Maintain organized records and generate reports for management.
7. Brand Identity:
Ensure all marketing, communications, and promotional activities are aligned with the mall’s brand identity.
Maintain consistency in the brand’s visual and messaging elements across all platforms and touchpoints.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance and strengthen the mall’s brand presence in the community.
8. Credit Control:
Manage the credit control process for casual leasing, ensuring timely payments from marketing vendors.
Coordinate with the finance team on invoicing, outstanding payments, and financial reporting.
9. Reports & Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on marketing performance, activities, and event success.
Analyze data to improve strategies for future marketing efforts.
Balancing multiple priorities, such as casual leasing, event management, budgeting, tenant liaison, etc.
Ensuring occupancy and income targets are met, while maintaining strong tenant relationships.
Securing sponsorships and partnerships in a competitive market.
Managing social media, website updates, and digital engagement in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Ensuring credit control and financial targets are achieved while maintaining positive relationships with vendors and tenants.
Navigating regulatory requirements and ensuring all necessary licenses and permits are obtained for marketing activities.
Keeping up with the latest global changes.
Qualification, Skills & Knowledge
Education Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Multimedia Advertising/ Media Mass Communications, PR/Marketing or equivalent.
At least 2 years of working experience in Marketing or similar.
Previous work-related skills, knowledge and experience would be helpful, knowledge of basic administrative duties with Microsoft Office.
Experience in casual leasing, event management, and tenant relations is highly desirable.
Proficiency in social media management, website updates, and content creation.
Familiarity with financial processes, including credit control and reporting.
