Job summary

Allianz Malaysia Berhad invites graduates to join a Marine Underwriting team in Kuala Lumpur. You will own the underwriting process, issue quotations, prepare risk documents and reports, and support internal systems like OPUS/ALPHA Marine.

You will work with stakeholders across functions, learn quickly, and leverage AI tools to boost productivity. Fresh graduates with relevant degrees are encouraged to apply; strong English and analytical skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates with degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial, ICT or Insurance Studies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high learning agility.
• Fluent in written and spoken English with good communication.
• AMII qualification or equivalent advantageous.
• Proficient in AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Process and issue Quotation/Risk Document, statistic and report within Dept timeline and Quality standard, and to provide analysis recommendations.
• Provide technical support and training to Branches, intermediaries and clients.
• Decision making in underwriting of risks within Company guidelines.
• Support in internal system enhancement of OPUS/ALPHA Marine systems/ IT Projects until successful completion & to manage/upkeep the eMarine system & internal control system within Dept timeline and recommend corrective actions.
• Support team leader to continuously review workflow/process and provide recommendations to improve delivery standards.
• Any other duties as and when deemed necessary.

You’ll be responsible for:

Process and issue Quotation/Risk Document, statistic and report within Dept timeline and Quality standard, and to provide analysis recommendations

Important to your success:

Advantage to candidates with AMII qualification or equivalent.
