MISC Marine in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced ICT professional to lead application development, deployment, and support across its Integrated Marine Services arm of MISC Group. You will gather business requirements, configure and integrate marine IT solutions, and ensure reliable system performance in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business users and vendors, overseeing asset management, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of service delivery

Competenze

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in ICT, with exposure to business application implementation, support, and operations.
• Experience in managing application enhancements, integrations, incident resolution, and coordination with business users and vendors.
• Knowledge of Marine, Port & Terminal Operations systems is an added advantage.

This role resides under MISC Marine (the Integrated Marine Services arm of MISC Group).

Key Accountabilities

APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION & SUPPORT

• Business Requirements – Gather and document business requirements to support the development and enhancement of Marine applications.
• Solution Development – Configure, customize, integrate, and support application development activities in accordance with approved functional and technical specifications.
• Testing & Deployment – Perform system testing, user acceptance support, documentation, and deployment activities to ensure successful implementation.
• Application Support & Maintenance – Provide day-to-day application support, troubleshoot issues, coordinate bug fixes and enhancements, and ensure system availability and reliability.

ASSET & CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT

• Asset & Configuration Management – Maintain accurate records of application assets, configurations, licenses, and related documentation to support IT service delivery.

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

• Business Support – Liaise with business users to resolve application issues, gather feedback, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Vendor Coordination – Coordinate with vendors and procurement on application support, maintenance activities, and service delivery in accordance with contractual requirements.

IT SERVICE DELIVERY

• Service Delivery – Monitor application performance, coordinate incident and service request resolution, and support the achievement of agreed service levels.
• Operational Support – Ensure timely support for business operations by coordinating with users, vendors, and internal IT teams.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical/marine IT/computer science/IT or related field
