MSIG Malaysia is seeking a Claims Supervisor in the Marine & Credit Insurance Claims Department to supervise and process Cargo, Bailees Liabilities, Hull, Credit Insurance and P&I claims with a focus on quality service and regulatory compliance. The role requires a degree holder and welcomes fresh graduates.

You will coordinate with HOD/Managers on recoveries, manage claims data, and prepare monthly statistics to monitor loss ratios and trends.

• Oversee Co-Insurance & Reinsurance claims processing and recoveries with HOD/Managers.
• Monitor status of outstanding claims and review for quality settlement.
• Update claims data and prepare monthly statistics and reports for loss ratio monitoring.
• Process subrogation recovery claims.

Supervise, manage and process Cargo, Bailees Liabilities, Hull, Credit Insurance and P&I claims under the Marine & Credit Insurance Claims Department, ensuring high-quality claims services in accordance with agreed company service standards and full compliance with all relevant rules, regulations and corporate governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and process claims effectively to ensure high-quality claims services in accordance with the agreed company service standards.
• Oversee, supervise and process Co-Insurance & Reinsurance claims processing and recoveries (bad debt collection) with the HOD/Managers.
• Monitor the status of outstanding claims and review them to ensure quality claims settlement.
• Update claims data and records, and prepare monthly statistics and reports for effective monitoring of loss ratios and claims trends.
• Process Subrogation recovery claims.

Qualification

• Degree Holder, with relevant educational background.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Basic knowledge of Marine Insurance and Claims, including INCOTERMS.
