Hartalega Holdings Berhad, the world's leading nitrile glove manufacturer, is seeking an Internal Auditor to drive the annual IA plan and assess governance, risk, and control processes.

You will conduct audits, summarize findings, follow up on corrective actions, and collaborate with management to strengthen internal controls in a fast-paced compliance environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant audit experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in audit procedures, risk assessment and internal control evaluation.
• Strong communication, report writing, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage documentation and track recommendations.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct audit assignments and identify improvements from engagements.
• Summarize findings, propose action plans, and review with managers.
• Manage audits to meet the Annual Audit Plan timelines.
• Identify control gaps and recommend process or system improvements.
• Facilitate meetings with auditees to discuss scope and findings.
• Document audit work, follow up on recommendations and corrective actions.
• Prepare and review draft audit reports and maintain audit documentation.
• Execute ad hoc assignments and special projects as required.

Job Description

Job Purpose

Drive the execution of the annual Internal Audit (IA) Plan to assess and enhance the Group’s internal control systems, risk management, and corporate governance.

Evaluate the adequacy, integrity, effectiveness, and efficiency of governance, risk, and control processes to ensure alignment with corporate objectives, strategies, and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Conduct audit assignments, assess audit effectiveness, and identify improvement opportunities from audit engagements.
2. 2. Summarize audit findings, propose action plans, and review with relevant department managers.
3. 3. Manage assigned audits to ensure completion within stipulated timeframes and align with the Annual Audit Plan.
4. 4. Identify control gaps and recommend opportunities for process and system improvements.
5. 5. Facilitate meetings with auditees to discuss audit scope, processes, and findings.
6. 6. Document audit work, follow up on recommendations, and track corrective actions with responsible personnel.
7. 7. Prepare and review draft audit reports and preserve all relevant audit documentation including working papers, evidence, files, and correspondence.
8. 8. Execute ad hoc assignments, special projects, and other tasks as assigned by superiors.

Qualification and Experience

1. 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or related field.
