Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced General Takaful Underwriter to manage underwriting and policy administration, prepare quotations, and process new applications, renewals, and policy issuance in a fast-paced environment in Malaysia.

You will liaise with Takaful operators, brokers and business partners, coordinate claims, monitor premium collections, and provide top-notch customer support while supporting business development and reporting efforts.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Business Studies/ Banking, Muamalat or related disciplines
• 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry specifically in General Takaful, Motor and Non-Motor Insurance
• Good understanding of underwriting and policy administration
• Able to multitask, work independently and meet deadlines
• Professional certifications (TBE, CEILLI, PCEIA, CRM or equivalent) are an added advantage
