Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead all housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring the highest cleanliness and guest satisfaction in a full‑time role based in Kuala Lumpur.

The role requires overseeing housekeeping processes, maintaining health and safety standards, and training staff to interact professionally with guests from all nationalities while collaborating with Engineering & other departments to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience as Executive Housekeeper in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, laundry management, hygiene standards, and preventive maintenance systems.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and staff training capabilities.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of hospitality regulations, health and safety standards, and quality control systems.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Engineering and other departments to maintain standards.
• Ensure the Preventive Maintenance System and KPIs are met.
• Oversee all laundry related operations.
• Train staff to interact professionally with guests.
• Establish systems to monitor achievement of departmental goals.
• Schedule inspections and ensure areas are clean and in good repair.
• Manage uniforms, linen, toweling and equipment supply.
• Plan, direct and coordinate housekeeping staff to be efficient and profitable.
• Work with Sales to develop new products and services.
