Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd seeks a General Manager for E-Waste Recycling & IT Asset Recovery to lead the Penang Operations Center. You will drive business development across Malaysia and Southeast Asia, oversee operations, and ensure profitable, compliant performance across recycling, asset recovery, and data centre decommissioning.

You will manage budgets, forecast revenue and costs, recruit and lead local teams, and build strategic partnerships with vendors, OEMs, and data centre operators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, environmental recycling, or resource recovery.
• At least 5 years in a senior management role (GM/Plant Manager/Operations Director/Regional Manager).
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Experience managing financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and operational costs.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and resolve problems under resource constraints.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Direct experience in recycling or IT asset recovery is strongly preferred.
• Established relationships with technology vendors, OEMs, or channel partners for sourcing retired IT equipment are strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Drive business development across Malaysia and Southeast Asia, acquiring new customers and expanding recycling and IT asset recovery channels.
• Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors, OEMs, and channel partners to secure opportunities for retired IT equipment.
• Build partnerships with data centre operators, enterprise customers, and stakeholders to secure IT asset disposition and recycling opportunities.
• Pursue business with electronics brands, manufacturers, energy storage and industrial equipment companies, and recycling traders.
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract execution for stable supply of recyclable materials and profits.
• Identify opportunities in refurbishment, remarketing, secure data destruction, and data centre decommissioning.
