Job summary

Tap Growth ai in Malaysia seeks an Executive Director to lead and establish the Central & Genting operations, overseeing project, sales & marketing, finance and admin, and other functions.

You will manage the full property development cycle from planning, design and construction to completion, coordinating consultants, contractors and site activities while liaising with authorities. A minimum of 12 years in property development and a Civil/Structural background is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil/structural engineering or related field is required.
• 12+ years of experience in property development preferred.
• Experience with project delivery, budgets and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and set up the Central & Genting operations across multiple functions.
• Manage full property development cycle from planning to completion.
• Oversee project planning, tendering, construction progress, and cost control.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and contract negotiations.
• Liaise with government authorities and lead project/site meetings.

About the Client

Our client is awell-established and award-winning company, based in Malaysia. In line with their expansion, they areseeking for a dynamic Executive Directorfor their projects in Central & Genting.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and set up the company’s Central | Genting operations, overseeing Project, Sales & Marketing, Finance & Admin, and other functions.
• Lead the full property development cycle, from project planning, design and construction to completion.
• Manage project planning, design coordination, tendering, construction progress, quality, cost and budget control.
• Oversee consultants, contractors and project teams, including tender evaluations and contract negotiations.
• Liaise with government authorities, consultants and contractors, and lead regular project/site meetings.
• Provide market insights and strategic input for business and budget planning.
• Identify and evaluate potential development sites and land banks.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assess project viability, sales assumptions onpotential projects incorporating business and company risk profile.
• Pre-empt management on legal and commercial matters related to land transactions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Building, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in property development.
• Strong track record in construction quality and project delivery, with experience in CONQUAS, QLASSIC or similar standards.
• Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills;while staying focused on the big picture and be able to conceptualize both problems and solutions.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to build long-term partnerships.
• Able to manage multiple priorities, drive decisions and lead change.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Remuneration

• Basic Salary: RM30,000 - RM50,000
