Job summary

Northport (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking an Executive for Continuous Improvement in Operations to drive Lean initiatives across port and terminal activities.

The role focuses on analysing workflows, coordinating KAIZEN and improving efficiency, with a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in related fields. Exposure to Six Sigma, ISO and PDCA is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in operations, process improvement, quality or project coordination.
• Exposure to Lean, KAIZEN, Six Sigma, ISO, PDCA or process mapping is a plus.
• Experience in port/terminal/logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational workflows and identify bottlenecks.

Northport (Malaysia) Bhd is looking for a driven individual to support Continuous Improvement initiatives across our port and terminal operations.

The role will focus on:

• Analysing operational workflows and identifying bottlenecks
• Coordinating KAIZEN and problem-solving initiatives
• Improving turnaround time, productivity and cost efficiency
• Monitoring improvement projects and measurable benefits
• Standardising SOPs, work instructions and operational controls
• Supporting change implementation across operational teams

Candidates should possess a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with 1–3 years’ experience in operations, process improvement, quality or project coordination.

Exposure to Lean, KAIZEN, Six Sigma, ISO, PDCA or process mapping will be an advantage.

Experience in the port, terminal, logistics or other operationally intensive industries is preferred.
