Line Control Technician (Production Control/Planner – Contract)

Location: Kulim, Malaysia

Your Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and other continuous improvement methodologies across production lines.
• Analyze current production processes to identify areas for improvement and develop implementation strategies to increase efficiency, reduce cycle time, and eliminate waste.
• Collect and analyze production performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain standard work procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in production processes.
• Collaborate closely with the operations team to implement changes and improve overall plant performance.
• Perform data analysis, define issues, and manage problem‑solving processes to ensure smooth flow in manufacturing.

Your Profile

• Diploma in Manufacturing/Business or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ working experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools (5S, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping).
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, or similar software.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, results‑oriented, hardworking, and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
