Job summary

DKSH Group in Malaysia seeks an Executive, Client Management to manage client accounts within the Consumer Goods business. You will drive growth by executing marketing and promotional plans, maintaining performance reporting, and fostering collaboration across internal teams and client partners.

You will monitor expenditures, coordinate promotions, share market insights with the sales team, and ensure stock availability while minimizing waste.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Business Administration, Marketing studies, or a relevant educational background.
• Minimum two to three years of sales or relevant FMCG experience.
• Strong understanding of clients' industry, business landscape and product portfolio.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in office productivity tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operating expenditures against budgets to ensure resources are used efficiently.
• Execute and monitor client promotion plans, gathering market and customer feedback to inform strategies.
• Communicate updates on client and competitor product developments to the sales team.
• Coordinate promotional materials, samples deliveries, and ensure marketing activities align with DKSH operations.
• Monitor stock levels and manage near‑expiry stock to minimize wastage.
• Establish workflows to support concurrent project delivery across the product team.
• Generate and maintain sales, promotion and distribution reports for performance reviews.
• Collaborate with the sales team on Pre-Promotional Funding submissions and ensure timely approvals.

About The Role

The Executive, Client Management is responsible for managing client accounts to ensure seamless business integration and drive growth within DKSH's Consumer Goods business in Malaysia. This role contributes directly to client success by executing marketing and promotional plans, maintaining accurate performance reporting, and fostering collaborative relationships across internal teams and client partners.

What You Will Deliver

• Support the management of day-to-day operating expenditures against budgets to ensure resources are used efficiently
• Execute and monitor client promotion plans, gathering market and customer feedback to achieve marketing goals and continuously inform client strategies
• Communicate timely updates on client and competitor product developments to the sales team to support informed, responsive decision-making
• Liaise with clients' marketing teams to coordinate promotional materials, sample deliveries, and ensure all marketing activities are accurately aligned with DKSH operations
• Monitor stock levels, address near-expiry stock clearance, and manage high stock holding situations to maintain product availability and minimize wastage
• Proactively establish and maintain effective workflows and communications to support concurrent project delivery across the product team
• Generate and maintain comprehensive sales, promotion, and distribution reports including daily tracking, weekly stock reviews, monthly sales analysis, Advertising and Promotions (A&P) tracking, and Monthly Business Review decks to support performance monitoring and strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with the sales team on Pre-Promotional Funding (PPF) submissions and manage daily claim matching and document verification in Exceedra to ensure accurate and timely client approvals
• Conduct business reviews with clients as required to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement and growthLead team delivery against function goals and support team development in Client Management practices and DKSH values, while committing to continuous self-improvement
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Diploma or certification in Business Administration, Marketing studies, or a relevant educational background
• Minimum two to three years of sales or relevant experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
• Strong understanding of clients' industry, business landscape, and product portfolio
• Strong client management and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
• Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Strong analytical background and knowledge of statistical analysis methods
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity, particularly in cross-country and cross-cultural interactions
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
