Our client is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team!

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Development, Tender and HR and Admin, you will play a meaningful role in promoting the company's services, supporting tender submissions, and conducting market research that shapes the direction of the business. What you'll be doing?
- Promoting the company's brand and services: Support efforts to elevate the company's profile and promote its full range of services and engineering capabilities to prospective clients and partners in the market.
- Conducting market research and analysis: Carry out market analysis to identify emerging trends, potential business opportunities, and areas for strategic growth that align with the company's development plans.
- Supporting tender and proposal preparation: Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders and proposals, contributing to the company's ability to secure new projects and expand its portfolio.
- Preparing reports for key stakeholders: Support the preparation and submission of reports to the Head of Department, regional leadership, and the Shanghai headquarters, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and well-presented.
- Handling ad-hoc assignments: Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as directed by the Head of Department, regional office, or Shanghai headquarters, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.

- Educational background: A Degree in Business Management or any related field provides a solid foundation for this role.
- Work experience: Candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply, as are those with up to 3 years of working experience — what matters most is the right attitude, drive, and willingness to grow.
- Language proficiency: Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English are essential for this role, as the position involves regular reporting and coordination with regional offices and the Shanghai headquarters, where Mandarin is the primary language of business communication.
- Technical proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications — including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint — is required to support reporting, tender preparation, and day-to-day business development activities.
- Mobility: A willingness to travel as required is important, as the role may involve client engagements and project-related visits from time to time.
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills: A highly organised, independent working style with the ability to operate with minimal supervision, paired with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team-player attitude.
