Job summary

ACCA Careers in Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to assist in preparing records, journal entries, and supporting schedules. You will perform reconciliations for bank, debtor, and creditor accounts and support month-end and year-end close activities.

You will assist in preparing financial reports in line with applicable standards, carry out monthly payroll processing, monitor cash flow, and support budgeting tasks.

Qualifications

• Recognized University Degree or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance.
• 1–3 years relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong technical ability, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accounting records, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Perform bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in preparing financial reports in line with relevant standards.
• Assist in monthly payroll processing, including data updates and reconciliation of payroll information.
• Support cash flow monitoring and basic budgeting tasks.
• Support SST-related tasks and other routine assignments as needed.
• Prepare MBRS conversion files in compliance with SSM reporting requirements.
• Validate data accuracy and assist with timely MBRS submissions.
• Provide accounting and administrative support during secondment assignments as required.
• Assist with client onboarding activities and maintain proper documentation.
• Support ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth delivery of outsourcing services.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years relevant experience is required for this position
