Job summary

MITIME CONSTRUCTION MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for our Kimanis, Sabah project. You will operate both wheeled and crawler excavators to support excavation, trenching and earthworks while following site safety rules and instructions from supervisors.

You will perform daily inspections, conduct basic maintenance, and assist with loading materials and general site tasks. CIDB Green Card and an excavator license are required; NTSP certification is mandatory for

Qualifications

• CIDB Green Card is mandatory.
• Valid excavator operator license and/or competency certification is preferred.
• NTSP certification is mandatory for substation access.
• Willing to work on a shift rotation basis.
• Prior site works or substation-related project experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheeled and crawler excavators safely to perform excavation and earthmoving.
• Follow site supervisors' instructions and adhere to safety rules.
• Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance checks on excavator machinery.
• Load, unload and move construction materials as required.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and certified Excavator Operator to join our team in Kimanis, Sabah. In this role, you will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently to support excavation, trenching, and general earthworks activities at the project site. This position is critical in ensuring site works are carried out in accordance with safety regulations, project specifications, and operational standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operate excavators safely and efficiently to perform excavation, trenching, and earthmoving；

Follow instructions from site supervisors and comply with all site safety rules and procedures；

Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance checks on excavator machinery；

Load, unload, and move construction materials as required；

Support general construction and groundwork activities at the project site.

What We’re Looking For

Able to operate both wheeled and crawler excavators is an added advantage;

Able to work long hours under outdoor site conditions;

CIDB Green Card is required;

Possess valid excavator operator license and/or competency certification (CIDB or recognized training institution preferred);

Responsible, disciplined, and a strong team player;

Willing to work on a shift rotation basis;

NTSP certification is mandatory (required for substation access);

Prior experience in site works or substation-related projects is an advantage.
