Job summary

MoonMan Events Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a motivated Events Sales Executive. You will identify opportunities in events, exhibitions, and corporate sectors, develop client relationships, and manage full sales cycles from lead generation to closing deals.

The role emphasizes strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with performance-based high commissions and an attractive salary package. Travel may be required to meet clients and grow the business.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing or related field.
• 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in events or exhibitions.
• Proven sales and business development experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Confident in approaching clients and closing sales.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and results-oriented.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Good networking and relationship-building skills.
• Willing to travel for client meetings when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities in events, exhibitions and corporate sectors.
• Generate leads and expand the company's client portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and presentations based on client requirements.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
• Follow up with clients to convert opportunities into sales.
• Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover and execution.
• Explore new market opportunities to increase company revenue.
