Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an energetic events coordinator to assist in sales enquiries, proposals and presentations, coordinating with venues, suppliers and crew to deliver successful events.

Fresh graduates are welcome; diploma or degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business or Hospitality is preferred. You may be required to travel to project venues and work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, Hospitality or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, responsible, organised and willing to learn.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends or public holidays when required.
• Possess own transport and be willing to travel to project venues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sales enquiries, quotations, proposals and presentations.
• Communicate with clients and provide project updates.
• Coordinate with venues, suppliers, contractors and crew.
• Assist in planning events, exhibitions, roadshows and product launches.
• Support client meetings, site visits and project documentation.
• Be involved in on-site setup, rehearsals, show days and dismantling.
• Assist the Manager in handling operational issues and last-minute changes.
• Support marketing and company promotional activities when required.
