Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an energetic Events/Marketing Assistant to support event planning, coordination with suppliers, and execution of business development activities. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to travel for events and incentive trips.

The ideal candidate will have a marketing/communications related degree, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, and knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Commerce, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to write and communicate in English and Mandarin.
• Willing to travel for events, business activities, and incentive trips.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of event management and marketing activities is an advantage.
• Video editing and content creation skills are an added advantage.
• Proactive, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Event planning and implementation from time to time
• Coordinating with supplier or contractor on event management, equipment hires and organizing event facilities
• Related business development activities such as organizing, attending/representative company event, product presentations, marketing material creation and other activities
• Video editing and post-production after event/activities
• Coordinating manpower requirements for event, liaising with Publication Department on production of marketing tools to promote the event
• Incentive trip from time to time
• Ad-hoc project from time to time
