St. Giles Wembley Penang Hotel is seeking a Sales Manager/Assistant Sales Manager - Event Sales to drive client outreach, prepare quotes, and manage contracts to meet sales targets.

You will coordinate event logistics, handle on-site client issues, and maintain CRM records while collaborating with other departments. The ideal candidate has experience in hotel sales, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to securing banquet and events business.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or hotel sales is a plus.
• Ability to prepare quotations and proposals for events.
• Strong CRM usage and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact potential and existing clients via phone, email, and in person.
• Prepare and send quotes and proposals for events.
• Coordinate and organize event details (catering, lodging, seating, security).
• Maintain and update CRM files and cross-department communications.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Follow up on groups and track contracts to ensure signing and return.
• Handle on-site client issues during events.
• Assist Sales team with lead generation and follow-up.
• Note: Shortlisted candidates will be notified for interviews.
