Job summary

Light Up 7 Sdn Bhd is offering an internship for aspiring events professionals in Kuala Lumpur. You will support planning, production, and management of all events, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and assisting with logistics and on-site execution.

You will gain hands-on experience in vendor negotiations, permits, and post-event reporting, while developing skills in multitasking, communication, and problem solving in a dynamic event environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in a related field.
• Problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinker.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu (Chinese is a bonus).
• Able to multi-task, work independently and work under pressure with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, production, and management of all events.
• Liaise between internal/external stakeholders in event production and management.
• Assist with event logistics and coordination.
• Coordinate with event management vendors (negotiate quotes and agreements).
• Assist with onsite event management during rehearsals and ensure smooth event proceedings.
• Assist in obtaining government and non-government event permits.
• Monitor and update event progress to ensure client satisfaction.
• Report status to management for all events.
• Resolve issues during the event day proactively.
• Brainstorm and implement ideas to improve event services or quality.
• Prepare event proceedings, collaterals, briefing notes, duty lists, and related documents.
• Support event production activities including equipment setup, onsite coordination, and other tasks.
• Handle post-event reports and surveys.
• Ensure each event is flawlessly executed.
• Work on other agency projects when required.
