Job summary

WORQ in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Event Marketing Intern to assist with planning, coordination and execution of events, and to support client enquiries and logistics.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, contribute ideas for event concepts, and gain hands-on exposure to event management, partnerships and commercial operations in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in events, marketing, business, communications, hospitality, or related fields.
• Strong interest in events, partnerships, community building, or hospitality.
• Organised and proactive, with good stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordination and execution of events.
• Handle client enquiries related to event spaces, packages, and availability.
• Coordinate logistics such as venue setup, AV, seating, and vendor coordination.
• Provide on-ground support during events to ensure smooth operations and guest flow.
• Brainstorm new event concepts and support ad-hoc tasks for the Events & Partnerships team.
• Assist with documentation, scheduling and tracking of events and partnerships.
• Gain exposure to event management, partnerships, and commercial operations.
