• High school diploma or GED; experienced (1-2 years) in event management or related area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; at least 1 year experience in event management or related area.

Responsibilities

• Ensures events progress seamlessly by following established procedures and collaborating with staff.
• Greet customers during the event phase and hand-off to Event Operations for execution.
• Ensure billing accuracy and conduct bill reviews with clients prior to finalizing bills.
• Manage group room blocks and meeting space for average to large-sized groups.
• Identify operational challenges and develop solutions with property staff and customers.
• Act as liaison between field salesperson and customer throughout the event process.
• Participate in customer site inspections and assist with sales as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
