Job summary

Elite Expo Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Event & Exhibition Executive to drive client relationships, sales initiatives and project delivery for exhibitions and events. You will coordinate with clients on requirements, marketing materials and vendor coordination to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. English, BM and Chinese/Cantonese proficiency is preferred, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing Communications, Advertising, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
• Experience in event/exhibition/tradeshow project management preferred.
• Leadership, independent, self-motivated, committed and results oriented.
• Strong problem-solving, detail-oriented, multitasking and prioritization.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in English, BM and Chinese/Cantonese; Mandarin exposure preferred.
• Own transport and willingness to travel overseas/outstation.
• Knowledge of beauty & jewellery sectors is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Prior experience in event / exhibition / tradeshow project management or any related industry will be added advantage
• Leadership attributes, highly independent & self-motivated, commitment, professionalism, and result oriented.
• Possess problem-solving skills, detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Pragmatic, meticulous, and multitasker
• Proficiency in English, BM and Chinese/Cantonese. Chinese literacy is preferred due to exposure to Mandarin-speaking international exhibitors and delegates.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation / overseas.
• Knowledge of beauty & jewellery sectors will be an added advantage.
