Job summary

METAL BEES EVENTS SPACE SDN. BHD. seeks a hands-on videography and content-creation specialist to capture events at our venues, edit short-form social content, and support venue operations during rentals.

You will shoot and edit coverage of setups, performances, and client moments, producing reels and marketing-ready content across platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent; candidates without formal qualifications but with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest or experience in videography, photography and video editing.
• Able to independently shoot and edit short-form videos for social media.
• Familiarity with video editing software such as CapCut or similar is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of camera operation, framing, composition, lighting and audio recording.
• A good eye for visual content, composition and storytelling.
• Basic knowledge of photography is required.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photos and videos of events, venue setups, décor, activities, performances, and key moments
• Produce event highlight videos, reels, behind-the-scenes content, and short-form videos for social media and marketing purposes
• Edit video content into engaging and visually appealing formats suitable for Instagram, Facebook, website, and other digital platforms
• Assist in creating regular venue and event content to showcase spaces, facilities, past events, and client experiences
• Manage and organise photo/video files for future marketing and portfolio use
• Identify good content opportunities during events and proactively capture suitable shots
• Keep up with current social media content trends, video styles, transitions, and editing techniques
• Oversee the venue during rentals and ensure the venue is properly maintained before, during, and after events
• Conduct venue handover with clients and vendors, communicate house rules, and explain liability for damages
• Monitor venue activities from setup to teardown, ensuring smooth and safe operations
• Operate basic AV equipment including LED screens, projection, sound systems, and event lighting

Job description

This is a hands-on role combining event videography, content creation, video editing, and venue operations. About you
