Job summary

OE Group Sdn Bhd is seeking an on-site Video Producer/Editor to lead event shoots and create engaging short-form content. You will handle shooting, editing, and post-production tasks, delivering content that aligns with campaign goals.

The role requires 1 year of experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Expect weekend or evening shoots as needed and collaboration with internal teams to ensure brand alignment.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Advertising, Mass Communication, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in video shooting and editing.
• Portfolio submission required, preferably including event coverage and promotional videos.

Responsibilities

• Lead or independently execute on-site video shoots for events such as forums, press conferences, roadshows, dinners, interviews and promos.
• Ensure high-quality footage via camera movement, framing, and composition.
• Select and organise raw footage for editing and delivery.
• Edit videos with voice-over, music, subtitles, color correction, and basic visual effects.
• Deliver polished final video products that meet campaign goals.
• Adapt content for landscape and portrait formats across 15s, 60s, and 2min formats.
• Manage equipment: photography, videography, lighting, audio; advise on upgrades.
• Collaborate with internal teams on project objectives and content strategies.

Independently or lead a small team to execute on-site video shooting for events, including forums, press conferences, roadshows, annual dinners, interviews, promotional videos, and short-form content.

Ensure high-quality footage through effective camera movement, framing, and composition techniques.

Select and organise raw footage.

Perform video editing, voice-over integration, background music insertion, subtitle creation, colour correction, and basic visual effects processing.

Deliver polished and professional final video products.

3. Content Adaptation

Adapt and optimise video content for different platforms and formats, including landscape and portrait versions.

Produce content in various durations such as 15-second, 60-second, and 2-minute formats based on campaign requirements.

4. Equipment Management

Maintain and manage photography, videography, lighting, and audio equipment.

Ensure equipment remains in good working condition and recommend upgrades or new purchases when necessary.

Work closely with internal teams to understand project objectives, brand requirements, and content strategies.

Ensure video deliverables meet campaign goals and quality standards.

Requirements

Education

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in video shooting and editing.

Technical Skills

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.

Skilled in operating DSLR/​Mirrorless Cameras, Gimbals/Stabilisers, and Wireless Microphones.

Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and creative storytelling skills.

Willing to work weekends or evenings when required for event coverage (replacement leave provided).
