Job summary

Carro invites you to join its Retail Aftersales team as an EV Technician, contributing to the expansion of our new car multi-brand EV business. You will perform diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair while ensuring OEM standards.

The role offers hands-on work with EV systems, diagnostic tools, and safety protocols. You will collaborate with service advisors, complete accurate documentation, and participate in training to stay at the forefront of EV technology.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Certificate or relevant technical qualification in Automotive or Electrical/Electronic fields.
• 1-5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or EV Technician.
• Experience in aftersales, new car servicing or dealership workshops preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
• Knowledge or exposure to EVs, EV systems and high-voltage diagnostics is a plus.
• Familiar with automotive diagnostic tools, scan tools and workshop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspection, diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair per OEM repair procedures.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systems using diagnostic tools.
• Complete accurate job cards and repair reports for all work performed.
• Follow OEM manuals, service procedures and repair standards with safety in mind.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and identify potential vehicle issues early.
• Handle EV-related systems and components with required training.
• Ensure proper use and safety of workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Work with Service Advisors and other teams to ensure smooth workshop operations.
• Participate in EV training and skills development programs.
