Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO Services Asia-Pac Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to provide operational procurement support and assist with contract management tasks across professional services and other categories globally.

You will work with Global Category Managers to perform spend analyses, prepare sourcing activities, and support negotiations while maintaining supplier relations and ensuring compliance. The role may involve EU shift timing and cross-timezone coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field; procurement certification (CIPS) is a strong asset.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, consulting, sales, or key account management within a globally operating organization.
• Proven experience in negotiation, contracting, and managing internal and external relationships; project management experience or certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, ideally within a multinational or global scale business.
• Proactive, self-directed, eager to learn, and self-motivated, with a track record of driving process optimization or procurement automation/digital transformation initiatives.
• Financial acumen and strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel (Power Query); experience with Power BI/Tableau or spend analytics platforms is an asset.
• Familiarity with SAP and procurement suites (Jaggaer, or similar ERP/procurement systems) or willingness to quickly learn new platforms.
• Passion for negotiating, with strong communication skills.
• Customer and solution oriented, takes ownership, structured and precise working style.
• Very good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Global Category Managers and Sourcing Managers in Switzerland and the United States on defined procurement workstreams, with a focus on Professional Services like Consulting, R&D, Legal, HR etc on a global scale.
• Spend analysis & scope: Data cleansing, spend analysis & consolidation, and dashboard maintenance.
• Policy & Documentation Tasks: Training session planning, repository maintenance and compliance tasks.
• Sourcing execution: eRFQ/RFI execution (template-based), bid tabulation/comparison, NDAs, and catalogue maintenance (if applicable).
• Contract and legal admin support: negotiation tracker, template population, renewal support and execution, supplier follow ups, contract review of commercial clauses including legal coordination (paralegal and commercial), contract repository management incl. expiry management, eSignature routing, and legal chasing.
• Exemption handling, Planner board hygiene, minutes, and deck/report formatting.
• Lower-complexity case intake and handling, with potential to take on more end-to-end processes as capabilities grow.
• Support small- to medium-sized projects.
