Job summary

Phitomas Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Techno-Functional ERP Consultant with SAP B1 implementation experience to join our consulting team. You will engage with customers, business users, and technical teams across the full lifecycle and progressively own workstreams.

Beyond SAP B1, you’ll develop expertise in Infor SyteLine and Infor LN, explore AI and automation to enhance ERP projects, and contribute to data migration, reporting, and integrations while traveling to customer sites

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of ERP implementation experience, including at least two full-cycle SAP Business One implementations.
• Solid understanding of core ERP processes: Finance & Accounting, Sales & Distribution, Purchasing, Inventory/Warehouse, and Manufacturing/MRP
• Basic SQL/database knowledge, with the ability to work with data relationships and transaction flows

Responsibilities

• Lead or support full-cycle SAP B1 implementations from requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis through configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-go-live support
• Translate business requirements into practical ERP solutions, identifying gaps against standard functionality and recommending fixes
• Configure ERP systems and collaborate with developers on reports, customizations, integrations, and interfaces
• Perform basic SQL queries and data analysis to troubleshoot issues and support reporting
• Support data migration, cleansing, and reconciliation activities
• Progressively take ownership of implementation workstreams and engaging directly with customers and managing issues through to resolution
• Explore and apply AI tools, including generative AI and AI agents, to improve ERP support, reporting, documentation, testing, and process automation
• Build working knowledge of additional ERP platforms (Infor SyteLine, Infor LN) over time

Job description

We're looking for a hands-on Techno-Functional ERP Consultant with strong SAP Business One (SAP B1) implementation experience to join our consulting team. This role isn't limited to one platform, you'll progressively build expertise across other ERP solutions, including Infor SyteLine and Infor LN, while helping shape how AI and automation enhance our implementations. You'll work directly with customers, business users, and technical teams across the full implementation lifecycle, with a clear path toward owning entire workstreams independently.

Key responsibilities

Requirements

3–5 years of ERP implementation experience, including at least two full-cycle SAP Business One implementation

Solid understanding of core ERP processes: Finance & Accounting, Sales & Distribution, Purchasing, Inventory/Warehouse, and Manufacturing/MRP

Basic SQL/database knowledge, with the ability to work with data relationships and transaction flows

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to diagnose issues from both functional and technical angles

Effective communicator, comfortable working directly with business users and technical teams

Willingness to travel for customer implementation projects when required

Genuine interest in AI, with willingness to learn new ERP platforms and emerging technologies

Nice to Have

Experience with Infor SyteLine/CloudSuite Industrial or Infor LN

Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, data migration, or BI/reporting/dashboard solutions

Exposure to Generative AI, AI automation, or AI agents
