Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on engineering technician to support semiconductor manufacturing ramp-up. You will be responsible for transfer, setup, buyoff, and sustaining uptime with troubleshooting across production lines.

Diploma holders in mechanical or electronic/electrical engineering with 1+ year experience are encouraged to apply. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential; knowledge of AI tools for retrieving technical information is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma required in mechanical or electronic/electrical engineering.
• 1+ year working experience encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of semiconductor testing equipment processes; hands-on experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, setup, and buyoff of test equipment for ramp-up.
• Sustain equipment uptime with hands-on troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM).
• Perform equipment setup, buyoff, and conversion.
• Manage spare parts, tools and meters.
• Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues in electro-mechanical equipment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment per plans/drawings.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• May modify equipment as directed by engineers.

Job description

Responsible for Test equipment transfer, setup and buyoff, and support for manufacturing ramp up

Responsible for sustain equipment uptime, with hand ontrouble shooting on the equipment

Perform and complete the scheduled PM as per plan

Perform equipment setup, buyoff, and conversion

Work on spare part/tools/meters management

Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process

Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings

Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.

Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required

May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.

Requirements:-

Diploma in mechanical engineering & Electronic/Electrical Engineering

Highly motivated individuals with more than1 year working experience are encouraged to apply

Good understanding of Semiconductor Testing equipment processes. In-depth knowledge & hands on experience will be a plus point.

A good teammate equipped with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
