Job summary
Flex is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to support our Senai, Johor operations. The role involves troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, calibrations, and assisting with installation and removal of process equipment to ensure precision and uptime.
Qualified candidates typically hold an associate degree or military technical training with about 4 years of related experience, and will work across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computerized systems at Flex
Qualifications
- Typically requires an associate degree in related field or military technical training or equivalent education.
- Typically requires 4 years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and isolate failure mechanisms.
- Repair failures in a cost-efficient manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals.
- Perform calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment.
- Assist engineers with installation/removal of process equipment.
- Maintain equipment records and logs.
- Provide daily equipment performance updates.
- Set up testing and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Disassemble and inspect components for defects.
- Support 24-hour coverage by organising teams or individuals.
