Job summary

Flex is seeking an Equipment Engineer based in Batu Kawan, Penang, to support manufacturing operations. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining process equipment, calibrations, and assisting engineers with installation and testing to ensure precision and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Identify machine malfunctions through troubleshooting and isolate failure mechanisms.
• Repair failures cost-effectively and perform preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals.
• Calibrate and re-qualify equipment; set up lab equipment for testing and calibration.
• Assist engineers with installation/removal of process equipment and document issues.
• Travel to other Flex sites or vendors as needed; support both software and hardware maintenance.
