Job summary

Robert Bosch Power Tools Sdn Bhd in Penang (Bayan Lepas) is seeking a skilled engineer to own equipment setup, process improvements, and knowledge transfer. You will lead workstation definitions, tool and fixture deployment, and SPC/PSCM activities for new product introductions and mass production readiness.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, and at least three years in a similar manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; self-driven, able to work independently, and proficient in MS Office applications.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to build deep process expertise in one defined technology area and serve as internal SME.
• Preferably experienced in New Product Introduction (NPI) and process/manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan equipment, workstation investments and cost feasibility for new and existing lines.
• Define SRS with FPV/QPV support and set up workstations for new products and automation projects.
• Drive improvement to reduce setup time and improve process stability.
• Define and purchase fixtures, tools, and equipment, conduct MSA and capability studies.
• Prepare comprehensive maintenance instructions and training for maintenance teams.
• Develop technical standards and act as the technology cluster owner within the defined area.
• Transfer knowledge to process engineers and trainers for ramp-up.
• Perform additional duties as required.
