Job summary

Bosch Group in Malaysia seeks an Engineer – Process (Spare Part Asia Hub) to lead new line setup and releases, plan investments for workstation assets, and ensure smooth line readiness for pilot runs or mass production. The role emphasizes SPC, FMEA, and process capability studies, with collaboration across maintenance and quality teams.

Applicants should have 3+ years in manufacturing, experience with NPI and process documentation, and familiarity with ISO 9001/TS16949 standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in NPI, manufacturing activities and relevant documentation (WIs, CP, FMEA, M&PC Studies, SPC, VT Time Study).
Knowledge of ISO 9001, TS16949, IEC/EN60745, 62841 and product safety requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for new line setup and release and ongoing process improvements.
Plan MAE/EWAK investments for workstations and accessories for new/existing lines.
Define, purchase, set up, run trials and buy off for all workstations and accessories.
Prepare workstation layouts, line release documents and conduct line buy-off before pilot/mass production.
Perform CP and capability studies to ensure processes meet requirements during mass production.
Liaise with maintenance for spare parts and provide support for quality problem resolution.
