Amphenol TCS (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking an Equipment Engineer to ensure reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and contribute to productivity and quality across the plant.

The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with quality and vendors, with fresh graduates welcome for consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering.
• Related working experience will be an added advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Able to use microscope.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machine to ensure minimum downtime.
• Work on preventive measures to eliminate unplan downtime.
• Continuous improvement to reduce machine scraps and improve yield.
• Analyze machine rejection and propose solution
• Ensure analyze and inform quality team if rejection related to incoming component
• Support quality team to reply to customer feedback if any
• Spare part inventory control. Maintain min and max inventory and review if changes are needed.
• Work with vendors to develop new equipment when needed.
• Comply with environment, security, health & safe requirements.

About the role

Join Amphenol TCS (M) Sdn Bhd as an Equipment Engineer in our Bukit Mertajam, Penang location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our manufacturing equipment, contributing to the overall productivity and quality of our operations.

What you'll be doing
