Job summary

PROPAC INTERNATIONAL SDN BHD is seeking an Equipment Engineer to assist in planning and tracking procurement and engineering changes of production equipment, molds, and spare parts. You will monitor line equipment issues, analyze problems, and provide engineering solutions to improve product quality yields.

The role includes developing and revising operation and maintenance manuals, standardizing procedures, and establishing training programs for equipment and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and tracking the procurement and engineering changes of production equipment, molds, and spare parts.
• Monitor line-equipment issues, analyze and initiate problem solving or providing engineering solutions.
• Improve and enhance product quality yields.
• Develop and revise equipment operation and maintenance manuals; standardize maintenance and repair procedures.
• Develop and establish training and troubleshooting programs on equipment and hardware.
• Support equipment performance improvement, technical innovation, and productivity enhancement.
• Participate in cost reduction and Continuous Improvement (CIP) initiatives.
• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support customer complaint investigations and corrective actions.
• Support cross-functional projects and new product/customer introduction activities.
• Complete all assignments from management in a timely, efficient, and high-quality manner.
• Develop and establish equipment operating procedures, troubleshooting and service/maintenance program.
• Manage equipment 5S and safety protocols.
