Job summary

IAQ Group in Malaysia is hiring engineers for large-scale EPCC projects. The team designs, builds, commissions and operates cleanroom, HVAC and related systems for data centres, pharmaceutical and healthcare environments.

The role demands strong CAD skills and disciplined project delivery. We seek candidates with a degree in Mechanical/HVAC/Mechatronics and at least 5 years in HVAC design/construction, able to lead design, tendering, and site activities, and willing to travel and be stationed on

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/HVAC/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years working experience in the HVAC design/construction industry.
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
• Highly motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize to meet strict deadlines.
• Able to operate AutoCAD software, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and calculations.
• Prepare tender scope of work, specification and BOQ.
• Coordinate with other disciplines on design and other deliveries.
• Assist in tender planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Review and approve technical submissions from contractors.
• Sign off testing and commissioning forms and results.
• Provide technical support to construction teams.
