Job summary

Arah Edar (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an engineer with 1-3 years of experience in bulk material handling for full-time employment in Malaysia. You will review technical specifications, drawings, and procurement documents, coordinating with engineering, procurement, projects, vendors and clients to ensure seamless project execution.

The role includes marketing meetings, supplier evaluation, and handling quotations, with site supervision as needed and occasional overseas travel to Indonesia, Singapore

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred (B.ENGG./B.Tech).
• Experience in Bulk Material Handling / Conveyors / Cement / Power / Steel / Mining / Process Industries is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and to assist preparing technical specifications, drawings and engineering documents.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Projects, Vendors and Clients.
• Meeting with client for marketing
• Identify and evaluate suitable suppliers for project requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate technical and commercial quotations
• Prepare purchase enquiries, purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Monitor vendor manufacturing, inspection, dispatch and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely procurement of equipment, components and bought-out items.
• Support project execution and resolve technical/procurement-related issues.
• Site supervision when needed
• Overseas travel to Indonesia, Singapore, Australia for marketing or for project supervision needs
