Job summary

ASE Electronics Malaysia in Penang is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine care on manufacturing equipment and systems. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, replace faulty components, and install new equipment in accordance with safety and spec standards.

The role includes documenting repair work and providing technical support to teams. Fresh graduates are welcome, with 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering / Mechatronic Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or software issues.
• Replace or repair faulty components and wiring.
• Install and configure new equipment and systems according to specifications.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and operational guidelines.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients or internal teams.
• Assist in training users on proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
