Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Environmental Officer to ensure compliance with the Environmental Quality Act (EQA 1974) and DOE regulations. You will monitor emissions, wastewater, and scheduled waste, manage documentation, and support audits.

Diploma or degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related field, with at least 2 years' experience. Strong analytical, reporting, and detail orientation, plus the ability to liaise with authorities and promote sustainability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in environmental management.
• Good knowledge of EQA 1974 and DOE requirements.
• Familiar with scheduled waste and environmental monitoring.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
