Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead the environmental function across our manufacturing operations in Malaysia. You will ensure compliance with DOE requirements, Environmental Quality Act, and customer standards while driving continuous improvement.

You will manage pollution control systems, CAPEX projects, ISO 14001, and ESG initiatives, develop KPIs, and lead an environmental team through audits and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental management within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience leading an Environmental / EHS team.
• Strong hands-on experience in Environmental compliance and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Environmental function to ensure compliance with DOE requirements, Environmental Quality Act, customer standards and applicable environmental regulations.
• Oversee environmental operations, pollution control systems and CAPEX projects to improve environmental performance.
• Drive ISO 14001 implementation and sustainability initiatives across the organisation.
• Develop environmental KPIs, targets and reporting for ESG initiatives and stakeholder communications.
