Job summary

Press Metal is seeking an Assistant Manager, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) in Malaysia to lead EHS policy development, audits and compliance across sites. You will support the implementation of group EHS strategies, provide guidance to entity teams and monitor regulatory and ISO 14001/45001 compliance.

The role requires a Degree in OSH or related fields and 5–6 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

Degree in OSH, Environmental Eng, Engineering or Science.
5–6 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or heavy industry preferred.
Solid knowledge of occupational safety, health and environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

Develop and standardise Group EHS policies, procedures and programmes.
Provide technical guidance to entity EHS teams.
Monitor compliance with legal, Group and ISO 14001/45001 requirements.
Coordinate Group EHS audits, risk assessments and corrective actions.
Review incidents, investigations and preventive actions.
Analyse EHS performance and propose improvements.
Prepare reports for Management and support training.
