This role on the factory floor requires hands-on problem solving and budget guidance for environmental upgrades.

The successful candidate maintains records, submits mandatory reports, and drives corrective actions to prevent incidents while upholding data integrity across all environmental logs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid DOE/EiMAS competency certificate and CPD hours annually.
• Willing to be on the factory floor to troubleshoot, not just offices.
• Ability to advise management on environmental upgrades and cost-saving strategies.
• Maintain strict data integrity in all environmental reporting and logbooks.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize pollution control systems and ensure compliance with the Environmental Quality Act 1974 and regulations.
• Act as primary contact for DOE officers during audits, inspections, or regulatory updates.
• Operate and optimize pollution control systems (IETS, Scrubber, Waste Store).
• Conduct daily GSR inspections and ensure DOE limit compliance for discharges and emissions.
• Maintain logs, compile performance data, and submit reports via portals like e-SWIS or JASOnline.
• Troubleshoot system upsets, implement CAPA, and report incidents promptly.
• Process lab tests for production chemical expectations and advise on budget planning for upgrades.
