Job summary

Sunshine Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Balakong, Selangor is seeking an assistant electrician to support installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in our manufacturing facility.

You will perform basic wiring, conduit installation, and component connections from blueprints, conduct routine inspections of panels and machinery, and troubleshoot simple problems under supervision while adhering to safety protocols. Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
• Willingness to learn and develop new electrical skills and techniques.
• Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment according to blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components and systems to identify and address potential issues.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively for various electrical tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose simple electrical problems under supervision, documenting findings and actions taken.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
